In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience:
Must have working experience or knowledge of the recreational activities and equipment, rules and procedures as related to the particular activity in which assigned to. Responsible experience in retail sales which has provided a technical knowledge of retail products within the organization, merchandise display, maintaining inventory levels, and salesmanship responsibilities. Must have customer service and cash handling experience. Must be able to read, write, and communicate clearly and accurately in English. Must be physically able to list and carry items up to 40 pounds and 50 pounds with assistance. Ability to assist and orient lower graded employees and volunteers. Must be able to work an uncommon tour of duty to include nights, weekends, and holidays Position requires continuous standing, walking, stooping. May be subject to wood splinters, adhesives, paint fumes, cuts, burns, and bruises.
