Qualification Summary
You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement. The applicant must not be: listed on the General Services Administration’s Excluded Parties List system (SAM); listed on the system Award Management (LDP) list; listed on HUDs Credit Alert Verification Reporting System (CAIVRS); or ineligible to perform Federal Housing Administration appraisals due to Federal Housing Administration sanctions.
Specialized Experience:For the GS-13, specialized experienceis defined as one year of experience at the GS-12 level, or equivalent, that is directly related to the position and which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position includes:Appraising Single Family residential properties; AND Performing trend analysis, reporting findings and writing recommendations to management; AND Completing desk and field reviews of Single Family property appraisals.
In addition to meeting specialized experience, applicants must have a State Certified Residential Appraiser License.(You must submit a copy of your current state license and certification to be considered.Failure to submit this required documentation will result in loss of consideration for this position.)Time-in-Grade:In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:For the GS-13, you must have been at the GS-12 level for 52 weeks.Time After Competitive Appointment:Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
