Qualification Summary
Applicants must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below:1) Attention to Detail – being thorough when providing oversight of information technology and conscientious about attending to detail in the application of IT policies and procedures;2) Customer Service – working with clients and customers (e.g., senior management officials, information technology personnel, research and development organizations, etc.) to assess technology needs, providing technical information or assistance, resolving IT problems, or satisfying expectations; knowledgeable about innovations in IT products and services; and committed to providing quality products and services;3) Oral Communication – expressing highly technical information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information; delivering technically authoritative and persuasive oral presentations; listening to others, attending to nonverbal cues, and responding appropriately; and4) Problem Solving – identifying technology problems; determining accuracy and relevance of information; and using expert judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.ANDIn addition to possessing the four IT competencies listed above, applicants must also meet the following Specialized Experience and Selective Placement Factorto qualify for this position at the PT-II band level.Specialized Experience: Applicants must have a minimum of one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the PT-I, PE-I, or GS-11 grade level equivalent in the Federal Service, or private sector experience which has equipped the applicantwith the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs) to perform successfully the duties of the position, and is typically in or related to the position to be filled. Specialized experience for this position is defined as demonstrated experience utilizing tools, applications, the Drupal web content management framework, and data in a LAMP environment to integrate and consolidate unstructured and structured information/data.
Selective Placement Factor: Applicants must have demonstrated experience in coding websites or web applications using Drupal, PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
