Qualification Summary
For Outside applicants claiming VEOA (i.e., those without current or prior Federal competitive or excepted service) must meet specialized experience requirements equivalent to the GS-10 grade level in the Federal Service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. I have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS- 10 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: 1) Assisting with inspections/assessments in the areas of
hazardous waste disposal, HVAC systems, mechanical systems, electrical systems, custodial, grounds and structural systems and subsystems, as well as renovation projects; 2) Recommending quality assurance/performance assessment plans for specific contracts; 3) Ensuring contractors’ adherence to safety measures, wage and hour laws, and labor relations; and 4) Assisting with detailed reports, recommendations, contract modifications and correspondence. (NOTE: Your answer must be supported by information in your resume.) For Applicants who are Current Federal competitive service employees Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector: 1) Performing inspections/assessments in the areas of hazardous waste disposal, HVAC systems, mechanical systems, electrical systems, custodial, grounds and structural systems and subsystems, as well as renovation projects; 2) Developing quality assurance/performance assessment plans for specific contracts; 3) Monitoring contractors’ adherence to safety measures, wage and hour laws, and labor relations; and 4) Developing cost analysis schedules and cost estimates for new solicitations or contract modifications.
