Qualification Summary
Military Grades: E-5 through CW2 Compatible Military Assignments: 91 94 13M GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience or training which demonstrates the knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems; the ability to recognize improper operation, locate the cause and determine best method of correcting defects; ability to use technical manuals, tools and measuring equipment in making repairs and adjustments. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: 18 Months experience or training demonstrating a broad knowledge in repairing, rebuilding, modifying and testing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems and major components of weapons equipment. Experience in diagnosing malfunctions and determining needed repairs in weapons systems. Experience demonstrating the ability to inspect all weapons systems. Experience interpreting and applying drawings, schematics, blueprints, diagrams and specifications. Thorough technical knowledge of small arms, artillery, optical instrument and combat vehicle weapon systems repair, inspection and testing procedures to inspect and detect mechanical, electrical, electronic or hydraulic malfunctions. Skill to use a wide variety of test and diagnostics equipment to perform fault isolation and conduct repair of combat vehicle weapons systems. Ability to operate and understand original equipment manufacturer computerized diagnostic equipment and embedded diagnostics. Ability to utilize, interpret and apply parts list, manufacturer’s repair manuals, technical manuals, diagrams, engineering drawings, diagnostic computer information, and schematics.
