You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: To be qualified for this position at the GS-9 level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-7 level that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience for this position includes: Experience researching and reporting on archival records; AND Experience providing customer service to various audiences through oral and written communication techniques. OR 2 years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master’s degree or master’s or equivalent graduate degree. OR You may qualify by a combination of experience and education. NOTE: Only education in excess of the first 18 semester hours (i.e., beyond the first year) of graduate education is creditable toward meeting the specialized experience requirement. In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-09, you must have been at the GS-07 level for 52 weeks.
