In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Performing both pre-award and post-award contracting functions relating to planning, development, advertisement, award, and administration of contracts; 2) Providing guidance and mentoring junior contract specialist; 3) Evaluating the reasonableness of the contractor’s proposed cost/price for use in preparing for complex negotiations; 4) Interpreting and applying relevant laws, regulations, policies, standards, or procedures to specific contracting issues; and 5) Reviewing/assessing contract documentation to ensure adequate pre-award and post-award contract documentation is complete, accurate and included in contract files.
