TIME-IN-GRADE REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must meet time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. Applicants must have served 1 year at the next lower grade level or equivalent grade level of federal service to qualify for the PG-2001-09. To qualify for the Supervisory General Supply Specialist, PG – 2001 – 9 , you must meet the following requirements: 1 year of specialized experience at the PG-7 (or equivalent) level or higher. Examples of qualifying specialized experience includes experience in disseminating documents and materials (e.g. schedules, mail, agendas, etc.), planning, organizing, coordinating, directing and controlling simultaneous operations associated with the distribution of informational material where diverse demands are presented and cost efficiency and optimum production are a requisite. or master’s or equivalent graduate degree
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or
LL.B. or J.D., if related or A combination of graduate level education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. All qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement (08/17/2020) to be considered.
