Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Ensuring environmental programs provide the controls and procedures necessary to protect or improve air, land and water resources; prevent contamination by hazardous and toxic substances; and assure maintenance of a delicate balance between land use requirements and environmental concerns in compliance with Federal, State, and agency policies, directives, and regulations.
