You must meet the following requirements within 14 days of the closing date of this announcement. For the GS-13, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes: Full working knowledge in Human Resources (HR) operations, principles, practices, and regulations sufficient to perform detailed analyses and draw conclusions on multiple HR area’s such as Recruitment and Placement, Classification, Position Management, Compensation, Employee/Labor Relations, Office of Workers Compensation; Employee Development. AND
Providing technical guidance in all HR-related areas to management and other HR staff. AND
Aiding the Human Resources Officer (HRO) on HR related projects and tasks as well as serve as an HRO when directed to do so. AND
Assisting or overseeing a team of specialist or other HR staff in order to monitor work progress, review of completed work, work quality and submission of work in a timely manner. In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-13, you must have been at the GS-12 level for 52 weeks.
