To qualify for the GS-9 Grade Level: Applicants must have 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, GS-07, in the Federal Service. Specialized experience is defined as experienceinterpreting laws AND/OR regulations AND/OR administrative procedures to derive conclusions involved in assessing AND/OR assuring compliance ORExperience identifying basic regulatory violations concerning job discrimination.
OR
master’s or equivalent graduate degree
or
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.B. or J.D., if related
To qualify for the GS-11 Grade Level: Applicants must have 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, GS-09, in the Federal Service. Specialized experience is defined as experienceevaluating evidence obtained during investigations,Negotiating with respondents to reach remedy agreements,Making appropriate recommendations for legal remedies through litigation ANDProviding consultation on discrimination statutes.
OR
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
To qualify for the GS-12 Grade Level: Applicants must have 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, GS-11, in the Federal Service. Specialized experience is defined as experienceevaluating evidence obtained during OSHA or State Whistleblower investigations,Negotiating with respondents to reach remedy agreements, Making appropriate recommendations for legal remedies through litigation, ANDProviding consultation on OSHA- or State-enforced discrimination statutes.
