Who May Apply: US Citizens In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. For the DK-02 middle of the pay band equivalent to a GS-6 level: One year of specialized experience which includes: Extracting and inputting data from multiple sources utilizing automated systems for financial management; perform customer assistance in the area of travel and accounting, resolving financial management and fund control issues. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone–no substitution of education for experience is permitted. This position is being recruited at the GS-equivalency in the DK-02 Pay Band and your resume must describe your experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade of the band’s line of progression (GS-05). Please note: Pay Band DK-01 is equivalent to a GS-1 Step 01 through GS-4 Step 10 grade levels and Pay Band DK-02 is equivalent to a GS-05 step 01 through GS-08 step 10 grade levels.
