Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience conducting preventive and corrective maintenance, assessing shipboard communication systems (i.e.,any radio frequency (RF) bands to include Satellite Systems) and performing inspections for the purpose of determining the general fitness and operational readiness of government owned ships, boats and crafts (e.g., seagoing experience related to combat electronics, electronics material readiness, or TYCOM, INSURV communications material inspection team member, etc.). Experience in performing inspections, analyzing functional checkout and testing of shipboard systems in a test and inspection environment and basic knowledge of electricity, electronics theory and electronic equipment design.
