This position is designated as Emergency-Essential (E-E). In the event of a crisis situation, incumbent will be subject to deployment on a TDY basis to overseas duty location(s) to perform assigned duties particular to the deployment. Failure to deploy when required and/or meet the medical requirements of deployment status may result in separation from Federal Service. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Experience required: To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized Experience required: To qualify, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level GS-09. Specialized experience is defined as: Experience interpreting and applying acquisition and contract administration policies, regulations and practices in order to execute a wide range of contract functions; and experience generating reports, cost and price analysis and participating in post-award conferences to resolve and/or clarify contractual issues. Education can be substituted for experience. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
