Qualification Summary

Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time. Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the job elements and screen out listed below. This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. Applicants who do not receive a minimum of two points on the screen-out element(s) will be found ineligible. The Screen-out Element for this position is: Ability to lead or supervise: At the journeyman level: 1) Leading others in the disassembly, troubleshooting, repair, assembly and overhaul of aircraft pneudraulic components; 2) Interpreting instructions, plans, and established priorities to assign work to others; 3) Monitoring work in progress to identify actual or potential work delays; and to inform supervisor of needed supplies, material, and/or equipment; 4) Demonstrating proper work methods and explaining unusual steps or processes to employees; and 5) Inspecting finished work to ensure adherence to work sequence; proper quality; and quantity of work.
