Specialized experience is expertise in planning, administering, and evaluating the development of a professional acquisition workforce (which includes research, education, training, career development, or managing a related information system. It also requires professional work experience that demonstrates knowledge of the substantive nature of Federal acquisition programs, missions, policies, goals and objectives; management principles and processes; analytical and evaluative methods for assessing acquisition program development or execution and improving organizational effectiveness and efficiency; andthe ability to effectively communicate and defend recommendations.
