Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Planning, coordinating, and solving complex and difficult structures and/or subsystems issues requiring substantial analysis and evaluation of root causes, effects and alternatives, hazard and safety of flight assessments and airworthiness considerations. 2) Conducting state of the art engineering analyses and investigations to provide substantiated and documented support for in-service engineering actions, including repair, overhaul, modification, operation, maintenance, manufacture, and to improve reliability, maintainability and safety. 3) Providing inputs, analyses, recommendations and justification for new design efforts and legacy system improvements. 4) Providing technical expertise and oversight to ensure the latest advancements in engineering technology are considered and implemented in all work..
