Brinda says, “Quarantine is something, which we all have never done before. I mean, I feel most of us have not faced it ever. But then, in every new situation, there is always something different and interesting, which we should be able to acknowledge. Quarantine is finally making us realize the importance of basic health hygiene that many of us have totally neglected. For example, coughing with our mouth covered, washing our hands from time to time, keeping a safe distance from people having flu, etc. These things were always important to follow but it took a pandemic to make us realize it.”

Additionally, she says, “At the same time, quarantine is giving us a lot of extra time for following our passion, read a lot of books, practice some art form, learn something new or do something, which we could not possibly devote our time to due to the constant work pressure. It is making us stay with our family, relive the old memories, making parents devote more time to their children and finally, it is making us understand the importance of preservation of nature. After 30 years, people are admitting that they can see a clear blue sky. They can hear birds chirping and in many areas, people are witnessing different animal species which they had never seen before. Let us stick to these positive aspects and I am sure, once this quarantine period is over, believe it or not, we just might miss these aspects of it.”
