Applicants must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies or knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such experience is typically in or directly relates to the work of the position to be filled.
Qualifying experience would be demonstrated by: Experience applying policies and processes governing analysis, identification and coordination of staff and material requirements during planning for target efforts to include overseeing targeting processes for operations and exercise planning;
Experience synchronizing lethal/nonlethal fires at various locations;
Experience interpreting and applying joint fires/doctrine, TTPs and fire policies (e.g., joint targeting, collateral damage estimation, joint targeting process, intermediate/advanced target development), and exercise planning processes;
Experience applying knowledge of DoN/DoD mission, organization and support requirements to facilitate planning of OPLANs, OPORDs, CONPLANs, administrative control (ADCON), operational control (OPCON) and tactical control (TACON) relationships of cyber forces;
Experience in the selection, adaption and application of joint fires, precision fires, collateral damage estimation, targeting database software/tools to facilitate target planning and target data basing requirements IAW joint publications/standards;
Experience interpreting current/future cyberspace operations capabilities and initiatives to determine potential impacts on the commands mission related to targeting efforts.
