Qualification Summary
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience providing regional coordination for Oceanographic operations and engagements to staffs in the Area of Responsibility (AOR). Experience coordinating with Staff Oceanographer, collaborating with customers, staffs, and their representatives in the identification of new areas of environmental support and present Naval Oceanography capabilities. Experience negotiating and implementing government to government Memoranda of Agreements with countries in the assigned region. Experience assisting in the development of Oceanographic, Hydrographic and Bathymetric (OHB) products and services; experience assessing current and alternative environmental product and service needs. Experience understanding Department of State (Embassy), Naval Component Commander, regulations, and standard operating procedures.
