Qualification Summary
In accordance with the General Schedule Qualification Standards for Administrative and Management Positions,, applicants must possess at least one year of specialized experience at the GS-12 grade level (or equivalent) by the closing date of this announcement. This experience may have been gained in the private or military sector. Volunteer Experience: Your experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through a National Service program (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, and social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Examples of specialized experience include: Functioning as a technical authority on developing original Web design and functionality. Conceptualizing and designing digital productions where there is no established format or obstacles exist to traditional approaches. Using HTML, CSS, and responsive frameworks such as Drupal, Magento, Weebly, WordPress, or similar platform for desktop, tablet and mobile viewing, including maintaining and updating themes, modules, views, code, scripts, and configuration. Engaging directly with an organizations consumer audiences on key themes that advance strategic business objectives by using digital media integration including: various social media platforms, digital publications, online blogs, visual information and graphics, and other internet-based media. Providing customer service for a variety of special programs related to internet-based capabilities including development of wireframes, mockups and information architecture maps to facilitate discussions with supervisors or clients. Leveraging most recent advancement in the fields of graphics and visual production, photography equipment, or multimedia technology as they relate to marketing and the range and level of sophistication of viewing, buying and social norming habits. Researching, planning and developing Web designs aesthetically comparable to those produced by commercial advertising and marketing agencies, adapted to retail patron characteristics and desired reaction to a product.
