To qualify for this position, your resume must state sufficient experience and/or education, to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are applying. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer and part time experience. GS-05: Applicants who meet the above basic requirements qualify for the GS-05 grade level. GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-05 grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: Collects and analyzes data for design of new construction. Conducts on-site inspections of routine projects. Utilizes and creates survey data allow for design and construction. Prepares technical specifications, cost estimates, capacity reports, and reviews equipment, and material submittals. Prepares routine designs utilizing computer and drafting software to manipulate field data and integrate with modeling software. Investigates malfunctioning components and make preliminary diagnosis. OR, a Bachelor’s degree with Superior Academic Achievement. OR, completed at least one full year of graduate level education in a related field. GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: Provides contact management oversight performing preliminary and final design analyses, quantity estimates, capacity reviews, and cost of construction, equipment, and materials. Investigates malfunctioning water and sewer system components, and makes preliminary diagnosis and estimates cost, manpower, and material necessary to correct malfunctioning systems. Collects and analyzes data for water, sewer or solid waste systems. Independently produces construction drawings and technical specifications. OR, a master’s degree. OR, two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master’s degree in a related field. You must meet all qualification requirements within 30 days of the closing date of the announcement.
