This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. Applicants who do not receive a minimum of two points on the screen-out element(s) will be found ineligible. The Screen-out Element for this position is: The ability to do the work of an Electronics Worker without more than normal supervision performing duties such as: 1) Perform maintenance, inspection, and testing large station prototype batteries developed especially for use on UPS systems; 2) Use basic test equipment such as multimeters, meggers, dialectric test sets and preprogrammed automated test equpment; 3) Use troubleshooting techniques on functionally independent stand-alone units; and 4) Use hand and power tools for electronic equipment.
