Technical Qualifications:1. Demonstrated ability to plan, advocate, and execute large space technology development programs.Examples include basic fundamental research with academic institutions, low to mid Technology ReadinessLevel R&D activities within NASA and with commercial partners, and collaboration and partnerships withother government agencies.2. Demonstrated innovative approaches with government funded research and development, includingpartnerships and collaborative efforts to drive process changes/efficiencies and ensure rapid transition andinfusion of robotic and/or human space technologies to government and commercial sectors.3. Program level experience with proven skills leading space technology development program portfoliosand people to ensure programmatic integration and cross program efficiencies.To qualify, candidates must have the skill and ability to perform the duties described above as demonstrated by progressively responsible supervisory/managerial experience, normally with several years at the GS-15 level or equivalent, which demonstrates clearly the ability to manage people and resources. Candidates must also demonstrate qualifications in the managerial and technical areas noted below.
