Qualification Summary
To qualify, your experience should include experience and education equal or equivalent to the following:
GRADE 12 -Experience, you must have at least one year of equal or equivalent experienceresearching facts, statutes, regulations, policies, and case law, and composing papers presenting facts, analysis, and conclusions concerning Federal Procurement law and working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
GRADE 13 -Experience, you must have at least two years of equal or equivalent experienceresearching facts, statutes, regulations, policies, and case law, and composing papers presenting facts, analysis, and conclusions concerning Federal Procurement law and working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
GRADE 14 -Experience, you must have at least three years of equal or equivalent experience post-graduation, during which time the candidate must have provided advice and representation on a full range of Federal acquisition law issues relating to government programs; worked on a wide range of legal concepts, principles, and practices; developing and presenting written and oral legal analyses and conclusions of law; and interpreting complex statutory framework with significant expertise with regard to the Federal laws and regulations relating to acquisitions AND experience in procurement litigation either in Federal court, a Board of Contract Appeals, or with respect to bid protests before the General Accountability Office.Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
