At the GS-3: Completion of one full academic year of post-high school study OR six months of progressively responsible clerical, office, or other experience which indicates my ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the clerical position to be filled.At the GS-4: Completion of two full academic years of post-high-school studyORan associate’s degreeORone year of clerical, office or other experience which indicates an ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the clerical position to be filledORa combination of education and experience.At the GS-05:Completion of a 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university OR One year of specialized experience. Qualifying experience is experience editing and creating office documents and correspondence using various office automation software; generating tables of contents, glossaries, columns of text and importing into and exporting out of documents text, tables or graphics from software systems; directing inquiries or routing correspondence to the appropriate office or individual; replying to basic questions on the functions and structure of the organization; and performing administrative functions such as travel, time and attendance and requisitions. OR A combination of post-high school education and appropriate experience that together meet the qualification requirements of this position. NOTE:One full academic year of undergraduate education is defined as 30 semester hours/45 quarter hours or the equivalent in a college or university program.
