Qualification Summary
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DA-05 pay band or GS-12/13 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing acquisition management and life cycle support for an assigned program (i.e. aircraft weapons systems). Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Applying program management principles and practices to identify critical problems and ensure program accomplishment through the various phases of the acquisition cycle; 2) Developing and implementing short and long-range program plans to meet changes in aircraft configuration, suppliers, or funding; 3) Coordinating with internal and external contacts regarding acquisition and supply issues; 4) Implementing life cycle cost analyses of projects and establishing cost reduction initiatives to meet program goals; and 5) Developing methods and procedures to measure program accomplishments, results, and effectiveness of program operations in meeting established mission. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
