Qualification Summary
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Analyzing and evaluating military accession programs to assist with identifying, devising, and proposing new processes and strategies to improve efficiency; 2) Analyzing qualitative and quantitative data and using the results to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of selection and classification program operations in meeting established goals and objectives; 3) Operating a computer and computer database systems to input, extract and analyze data and prepare spreadsheets, graphs, and reports; 4) Using effective oral and written communication to prepare and present new ideas, business case analysis, presentations and reports, brief senior management, and defend data analysis; 5) Analyzing the programmatic aspects of operations and management to develop life cycle analyses, cost benefit and economic evaluations of current and projected programs and associated contract support. Occasionally assignments may require active participation in review of contingency operations/exercises; the incumbent may be required to work extended hours such as twelve hours on/twelve hours off for indefinite periods, or be required to deploy into theater of operations and live under physically demanding conditions. WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Normal everyday risks are encountered in moving from office and buildings, in traveling by commercial vehicles to include various modes of transportation while on temporary duty away from the permanent duty station. Occasionally, when required to deploy into the theater of operations the work environment may be under field conditions. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
