Qualification Summary
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying hands-on mastery of the modern game engines Unity3D and Unreal 4, industry standard 3D content creation technologies, and computing hardware to the production of advanced mixed reality-based training systems to include immersive courseware, 3D virtual environments, virtual and augmented reality solutions, and instructor support interfaces; 2) Leading major engineering research investigations, rapid prototype, or production projects concerned with the development of improved training technologies and methodologies; 3) Serving as Subject Matter Expert in the areas of 3D modeling, animation, lighting, shading, texturing, skinning, storyboard authoring, video and sound editing, motion capture, rigging and post processing of realistic human characters; 4) Identifying and implementing appropriate mathematical models and machine intelligence technologies for simulation including kinematic, dynamic and probability models; 5) Integrating managed and unmanaged software applications, third party applications, libraries, and peripherals utilizing programming languages and protocols such as C#, C++, Java, XML, xAPI, and UPD; 6) Applying a high degree of individual creativity and independent thought to the solution of critical research and development questions; 7) Mentoring others in 3D content development and environment programming; 8) Authoring successful technically sound proposals and plans to research problems with the ability to present analyses and recommendations in a clear and convincing manner orally and in writing.
