This is a developmental position in Programs & Project Management Division, Programs Management Branch that will be filled at the GS-05. The target level for this assignment is a GS-11. Assignments at the GS-05 level will become progressively more difficult and will be under closer than normal supervision until the next level of GS-07 is reached. Assignments at the GS-07 level will become progressively more difficult and will be under close supervision until the next level of GS-09 is reached. Assignments at the GS-09 level will become progressively more difficult and will be under close supervision until the full performance level is reached. Non-Competitive promotion to the next grade level may be effected provided you are sufficiently experienced, meet all requirements, and are performing the full scope of major duties. Who May Apply: US Citizens In order to qualify, you must meet the education or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. General Experience: Three years progressively responsible experience, 1 year of which was equivalent to at least the GS-04 grade level, which includes performing procedural and administrative work of an office, such as performing a full range of clerical duties to assist higher level employees in the areas of budgeting, financial management, and resolution to customer service issues/rproblems relating to administrative processes. This definition of general experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-04). OR Education: Four year course of study leading to a bachelor’s degree. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 36. Then divide your total number of completed undergraduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 120. Add the two percentages. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
