Qualification Summary
To be considered for this position, you must demonstrate that you can safely operate several types of gasoline or diesel powered engineering and construction equipment with wheeled or crawler-type traction and attachments such as: loader (front end), loader/backhoe, dump truck, straight truck (hauling small equipment), truck/tractor (hauling large equipment), farm tractors with implements, excavator, and road grader. Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most Wage Grade positions, you must show through EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING that you possess the QUALITY level of knowledge and skills necessary to perform the duties of this position. Qualification requirements emphasize the quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time.
