Qualification Summary
All qualifications must be met by the closing date of this announcement-01/29/2020-unless otherwise stated in this vacancy announcement. Credit will be given for all appropriate qualifying experience. To receive credit for experience, your resume MUST clearly indicate the nature of the duties and responsibilities for each position, starting and ending dates of employment (month/year), and the resume must reflect either full-time or 40 hours per week. If a part-time work schedule is reflected, the hours must be annotated to ensure proper crediting of specialized experience. Applicants must meet the Minimum Qualification Requirements for this position below: Degree: 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor’s degree with a major in any field;
-OR-
Education/Coursework: At least 24 semester hours in any combination of the following fields: accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management. NOTE EXCEPTION TO ABOVE: Employees in GS-1102 positions will be considered to have met the standard for positions they occupy on January 1, 2000. Employees who occupy GS-1102 positions at grades 5 through 12 will be considered to meet the basic requirements for other GS-1102 positions up to and including those classified at GS-12. This includes positions at other agencies and promotions up through grade 12. However, employees must meet specialized experience requirements when seeking another position. In addition to the above minimum requirements, applicants must also possess the following: For GS-05: The above minimum qualifications are also qualifying for the GS-05 Education: Successful completion of a 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor’s degree with a major in any field.

Successful completion at least 24 semester hours in any combination of the following fields: accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial, management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management. For GS-07
Specialized Experience: At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-05 level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as providing acquisition support work related to the contract pre-award (i.e., the work necessary to secure a contract to acquire goods and/or services) and post-award processes (i.e., the work accomplished after contract award).

Education: One full academic year of graduate education or law school or superior academic achievement with coursework in one or a combination of the following fields: accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management; or LL.B, or J.D.
-OR-
Combination of experience and education: Equivalent combinations of experience and education described above that meets 100% of the requirements. For example, six months of the specialized experience described above (50% of the experience requirement), and 27 semester hours or 41 quarter hours of graduate education in accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management (50% of the qualifying education).
NOTE: Applicants who meet the criteria for Superior Academic Achievement qualify for positions at the GS-7 level. For GS-09
Specialized Experience: At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience which experience which demonstrated training and developmental on-the-job experience in the award, administration and closeout of standard contracts for supplies, services, or construction.

Education: I have 2 full academic years of progressively higher level graduate education or masters or equivalent graduate degree or LL.B. or J.D. in one or a combination of the following fields: accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management; or PhD or equivalent doctoral degree.

Combination of Experience and Education: Equivalent combination of experience and education as described above that meets 100% of the requirements. Volunteer Experience: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
