Today’s post is Top 20 Punjabi Songs – January 17, 2020. The top song this week is Gunda gardi by Sippy Gill. The video shows the hero getting involved in a bank robbery. He is caught and questioned by a female police officer. Then, they team up to rob another bank. Two things struck me about this video. One is that the girl is a police officer and wears skimpy clothes. She is used more like a sex object in the video. The second thing is that I don’t see a link between bank robberies and hooliganism or Gunda gardi, which is the title of the song.
