OPM Group Coverage Qualifications Standard for Technical and Medical Support Positions in conjunction with the Individual Occupational Requirements for Engineering Technician Series Positions.To qualify for this position you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-I, FG/GS-13 level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE may include but not limited to: directing and coordinating resources to minimize aircraft maintenance events, downtime and costs; experience with material support for highly modified aviation platforms; experience in oversight of an aircraft/avionics maintenance program in accordance with established standards, Federal Aviation regulations, policies, practices and procedures; and/or experience leading maintenance technicians in achieving goals and objectives in a certificated flight program environment.In addition to the minimum qualifications, the following has been determined to be a selective factor for this position. This means possession of this criterion is part of the minimum qualifications and is essential to perform the duties and responsibilities of this position. Applicants who do not possess this criterion are ineligible for further consideration.Must possess Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate AND documented experience in an Operational Control Center serving a 14 CFR Part 121 Air Carrier in a maintenance environment with scheduled service and a fleet size greater than 50.Please ensure you answer all questions and follow all instructions carefully.
