Soona jahan by Mumbai Music Artists Aanchal and Lakshya

In this video, Aanchal Shrivastava spins stories with Soona jahan supported by her brother Lakshya Shrivastava. We also asked her about how she got inspired to become a musician and start Yatra with Aanchal.

Aanchal replies, “I think I was born to do music. I definitely think that it was to be. It was always to happen. Dad and Mom, both, used to sing. I was told how to sing from birth before I was told how to talk. Mom told me that I was 3 years old when I did my first stage performance. I pretty much started learning when I was 1 ½ to 2 years of age. I was a talkative child. Mom tells me that I used to talk much when I was one year old. I would also sing playing music with a spoon and a plate. So, it took a little while to realize that I was only made to sing. I am turning 32 now and it’s only last year that I quit everything. I had started my working career as a Radio Jockey, and then it was sales, then events and then PR professional. And I quit everything at 31 to do music full-fledged. We celebrated our one year in music on the 10th of October 2019.”
