Reference OPM's Individual Occupational Requirements for Engineering Technician Series and Group Coverage Qualifications Standard for Technical and Medical Support Positions.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: To qualify for this position at the FV-I level, applicants must have at least 52 weeks of Specialized Experience equivalent to the (FV-H or GS/FG-12) level that has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of this position.Specialized experience may include but not limited to: experience directing and coordinating resources to provide maintenance on aviation platforms, experience in oversight of an aircraft/avionics maintenance program in accordance with established standards, policies, practices and procedures; and/or experience leading maintenance technicians in achieving goals and objectives of an aircraft maintenance program.In addition to the minimum qualifications, the following has been determined to be a selective factor for this position. This means possession of this criterion is part of the minimum qualifications and is essential to perform the duties and responsibilities of this position.
