Qualification Summary
All qualifications must be met by the closing date of this announcement-12/19/2019-unless otherwise stated in this vacancy announcement. Credit will be given for all appropriate qualifying experience. To receive credit for experience, your resume MUST clearly indicate the nature of the duties and responsibilities for each position, starting and ending dates of employment (month/year), and the resume must reflect either full-time or 40 hours per week. If a part-time work schedule is reflected, the hours must be annotated to ensure proper crediting of specialized experience. Minimum Qualifications for GS-05: To qualify for this position at the GS-05 grade level, you must possess at least one of the following minimum qualifications by close of the announcement:
EXPERIENCE: At least one full year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-04 grade level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors). Experience at this level must include all of: experience in support of either personnel security or human resources; using automated systems to enter and track information; updating electronic records; creating reports; and reviewing forms for accuracy. You must include hours per week worked on your resume.

EDUCATION: Successful completion of at least 4 academic years above high school leading to a bachelor’s degree OR a Bachelor’s degree. You must include transcripts.

EDUCATION: Successful completion of a Bachelor’s degree. You must include transcripts.

Successful completion of a combination of education and experience as described above. You must include transcripts. Minimum Qualifications for GS-06: To qualify for this position at the GS-06 grade level, you must possess the following minimum qualifications by close of the announcement:
EXPERIENCE: At least one full year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-05 grade level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors). Experience at this level must include all of: experience in support of either personnel security or human resources; using automated systems to enter and track information; updating electronic records in a human resources or personnel security setting; creating reports; and reviewing personnel forms for accuracy. You must include hours per week worked on your resume. Minimum Qualifications for GS-07: To qualify for this position at the GS-07 grade level, you must possess at least one of the following minimum qualifications by close of the announcement:
EXPERIENCE: At least one full year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors). Experience at this level must include all of: experience in support of personnel security; using automated systems to enter and track information; updating electronic records into e-QIP (Electronic Questionnaires for Investigations Processing); creating reports; and reviewing personnel forms for accuracy. You must include hours per week worked on your resume.

EDUCATION: Successful completion of at least 1 academic year of graduate education. You must include transcripts.

EDUCATION: Qualification based on Superior Academic Achievement in a Bachelor’s Degree program (Superior Academic Achievement defined here). You must include transcripts.

Successful completion of a combination of education and experience as described above. You must include transcripts. Volunteer Experience: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
