Qualification Summary
In order to qualify for the GS-06:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-05) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience performing basic diagnostic procedures (i.e. vital signs, height/weight, blood glucose, urine dipsticks, etc.) ; Experience assisting healthcare providers with invasive or non-invasive examinations or procedures; Experience interpreting medical data relating to patient care; Experience educating patients and assisting in preparation for surgical procedures. In order to qualify for the GS-05:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience responding to inquiries from patients concerning a variety of medical, personal, and administrative matters; Experience performing vital signs, and electrocardiograms (EKGs) and reviewing results for completeness and accuracy with minimal assistance; Experience utilizing Electronic Medical Records and electronic databases.
