Qualification Summary
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing IT related trouble calls and service request within an organization providing technical computer support and/or technical information request in a prompt and professional manner.
Experience identifying and/or isolating the source of problems between hardware, system software and application programs (e.g. desktop/laptop computers, help desk hardware/software, LAN hardware/software, Network Management System, Personal Computer (PC’s), DOS operating system, Windows applications, laser printer, mass storage devices, accessories and information processing/sharing capabilities using information system technologies to understand the interrelationships between them). Experience providing technical advice to internet content providers, posting content to the web, resolving request for account management, and general site questions. Experience diagnosing and resolving problems in response to customer (e.g. reported incidents; providing feedback; tracking problematic trends and patterns; maintaining problem tracking databases; managing performance standards; providing customer training).
