Qualification Summary
Education:
Master’s or equivalent graduate degree or 2 years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B or J.D., if related.
Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.

All academic degrees and coursework must be completed at a college or university that has obtained accreditation or pre-accreditation status from an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. Experience:
You must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower grade level in federal service. To be creditable, this experience must have equipped the applicant with the particular qualifications to perform successfully the duties of the position, and must typically be in or related to the position to be filled. Some examples of this qualifying experience are: Experience applying accounting practices and standards to integrate budget and accounting data for analysis.
Experience applying budget procedures and principles to maintain financial operations.
Experience preparing fund distributions in accordance with budget committee decisions or the allocation of funds.
Experience conducting training sessions and meetings for program managers and assistants to teach budget concepts and principles and interpret printouts and management reports.
Experience in the use of databases, spreadsheets and various software to prepare and retrieve financial data. OR
A combination of education and experience. This experience must have equipped you with the qualifications to perform the major duties of this position as described above.
Credit will be given for paid and unpaid experience. To receive proper credit, you must show the actual time (such as number of hours worked per week) spent in the activities.
