Those who do not provide evidence they possess the following selective factors will be rated not qualified.Ability to do the work of an Engineering Equipment Operator without more than normal supervision operating a variety of equipment used to push, pull, pile or load materials. This work is carried out in the performance of basic operations associatedwith the reconstructionand maintenance of gravel and/or surfaced highways and timber access roads.Equipment consists of motor graders, tractors with attachments, dozer tractors, front-end loaders, backhoes, excavators, andbrush cutters. Operates various types of heavy equipment to repair washouts, earth slides and damage to road shoulders caused by storms, etc.Must have and maintain a commercial drivers license (CDL) and current medical certificate.Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.You must meet all qualification requirements by the closing date of the announcement.
