Licensure: Must have passed the National Board Dental Examinations (NBDE) which are developed and administered by the Joint Commission on National Dental Examinations (JCNDE) and possess a current, full, and unrestricted license to practice dentistry in a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
In addition to the Basic Requirements, you must also meet the Minimum Qualifications stated below. Additional Requirements for the GS-14: In addition to the above Basic Requirements for the GS-13 (or equivalent) level, applicants must complete one year of full-time experience in professional dentistry work and/or training that is equivalent to the next lower grade level. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: Serving as a project manager or officer with the responsibility of several concurrent projects through planning, organizing, and managing resources for a cost-effective, quality projects completed within the scope of the agency mission. Monitoring Dental Clinical and Preventive Support Centers and providing comprehensive site reviews; performing ongoing reviews and updating oral health guides, and presenting prevention-related topics to various audiences. Implementing risk assessment policies for oral health, and/or clinical and preventive oral health programs. You must meet all qualification requirements within 30 days of the closing date of the announcement. Federal employees in the competitive service are also subject to the Time-In-Grade Requirements: Merit Promotion (status) candidates must have completed one year of service at the next lower grade level. Time-In-Grade provisions do not apply under the Excepted Service Examining Plan (ESEP).
