Applicant MUST be a U.S. Citizen Relatives of current SEC employees are ineligible Student MUST be currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program from an accredited law school (unofficial or self-prepared transcripts ARE required. Enrollment verification in lieu of transcripts are acceptable; failure to provide this information will deem you ineligible for further consideration) An overall GPA of 3.0 is preferred Current 1L law students must be enrolled at least half-time in an accredited law school to participate in the Summer 2020 Student Honors Program. Students must have begun their first year of law school by September 30, 2019 and must complete their first year of law school by June 30, 2020. To be eligible to participate in the Summer 2020 Student Honors Program students must demonstrate they will continue their legal studies through Summer 2020 and/or Fall 2020.
