Qualification Summary
To be found qualified for the GS-13 Mediator position with FMCS; your resume must reflect your specialized experience. Specialized experience for the GS-13 Mediator position is defined as full-time collective bargaining experience gained by having served as:
1. Chief/Lead Spokesperson/Second Chair/Benefits Expert (representing labor or management) in the negotiation of collective bargaining agreements OR
2. Mediator, Consultant, Facilitator or Trainer with parties engaged in collective bargaining processes. NOTE: When detailing your level of specialized experience, please include: years of experience, a detailed description of your specific duties/ responsibilities, and accomplishments in collective bargaining, including the number and types of contracts negotiated, number and size of bargaining units, and your specific role in each activity. Failure to state the above in your resume may result in an ineligible rating or may affect the overall rating. IN DESCRIBING YOUR EXPERIENCE, PLEASE BE CLEAR AND SPECIFIC. WE WILL NOT MAKE ASSUMPTIONS REGARDING YOUR EXPERIENCE.
