The video opens with Sabita Chatterjee opening her room window and the music begins. She is happy to see someone and blushes. Johnny Walker begins to sing this song, highly frustrated that his date with his girlfriend did not materialize.

Sabita Chatterjee begins to enjoy the song, as she stands at her window. Some girls come to their balconies in buildings surrounding him. Some kids are watching Johnny Walker talking frustratedly and bring a bamboo ladder for him.

Johnny Walker reaches one house’s balcony and a lady comes and pushes him away asking in Tamil, “O, what are you saying?” He reaches the opposite balcony and the girl standing there pushes him. He tries to balance and begins to walk on the ladder, using it as stilts.

Sabita Chatterjee begins to laugh at Johnny Walker’s acrobatics with the ladder. When the ladies on the balconies push him from either side, he lands on Sabita Chatterjee’s balcony and she joins him in the song.

Johnny Walker climbs over the parapet wall and they go into the house. They begin to dance and the actor playing Sabita Chatterjee’s mother enters. The song peters out and the video ends as he goes to sit on a chair, with an apparent headache.

Mohammad Rafi Sahab and Asha Bhonsle have sung for Johnny Walker and Sabita Chatterjee. Several other actors look on.
