To qualify for this position, your resume must state sufficient experience and/or education, to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are applying. BASIC REQUIREMENT(S):
Degree: major study in an academic field related to the health sciences or allied sciences appropriate to the work of the position. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
GS-12: One (1) year of Specialized Experience equivalent to at least next lower grade is required.
GS-13: One (1) year of Specialized Experience equivalent to at least next lower grade is required. Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: GS-12: 1 one year of experience (equivalent to the GS-11) level that included duties such as: coordinate and supervise ancillary-professional health departments. Provide advisory, education and training, or problem-solving services on complex problems, projects, programs or functions in the areas of assigned departments. Apply Knowledge of health care administrative technology, principles of management. GS-13: 1 one year of experience (equivalent to the GS-12) level that included duties such as: participate with the CEO and Executive Committee in the formulation of program policies and procedures related to clinical support services and administration operations, Develop and implement plans, programs for the improvement, expansion or contraction of clinical support programs for the revision of present programs and services to meet the changing needs of the patients and population. Specialized Experience: Experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Federal employees in the competitive service are also subject to the Time-In-Grade Requirements: Merit Promotion (status) candidates must have completed one year of service at the next lower grade level. Time-In-Grade provisions do not apply under the Excepted Service Examining Plan (ESEP).
