Qualification Summary
You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.Specialized experience: For the GS-13, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes: Experience executing budgets according to the budget cycle; AND Experience with both working-level and executive-level customers to provide customer service with a financial management focus, and lead presentations communicating complex information to those audiences; AND Experience working in a team environment; gathering, organizing, and analyzing financial program data such as spending, travel, and procurement in order to make recommendations to management; AND Experience preparing or working with payable agreements, reimbursable agreements, or IPACs (Intragovernmental Payments and Collections).
Specialized experience: For the GS-12, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:
Experience executing budgets according to the budget cycle; AND Experience with customers to provide customer service with a financial management focus; AND Experience working in team environment, gathering, organizing, and analyzing financial program data such as spending, travel, and procurement in order to make recommendations to management; AND Preparing or working with payable agreements, reimbursable agreements, or IPACs (Intragovernmental Payments and Collections).
Specialized experience: For the GS-11, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:
Execute budgets according to the budget cycle; AND Experience with customers to provide customer service with a financial management focus; AND Experience working in team environment, gather, organize, and analyze financial program data such as spending, travel, and procurement; AND Experience preparing or working with payable agreements, reimbursable agreements, or IPACs (Intragovernmental Payments and Collections). OR you may substitute education for specialized experience as follows: – a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; OR – 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree; OR – a LL.M., if related; OR – have a combination of specialized experience and graduate level education. Only graduate level education in excess of the second year may be used as qualifying when combining education and experience.
Specialized experience: For the GS-09, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:
Executing budgets according to the budget cycle; AND Experience with customers to provide customer service with a financial management focus; AND Experience working in a team environment, gathering, organizing, and analyzing financial program data such as spending, travel, and procurement. OR you may substitute education for specialized experience as follows: – a master’s or equivalent graduate degree; OR – 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related; OR – have a combination of specialized experience and graduate level education. Only graduate level education in excess of the first year may be used as qualifying when combining education and experience. In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-13, you must have been at the GS-12 level for 52 weeks.
For the GS-12, you must have been at the GS-11 level for 52 weeks.
For the GS-11, you must have been at the GS-09 level for 52 weeks.
For the GS-09, you must have been at the GS-07 level for 52 weeks.
