To qualify for the 0110 series:
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:This position has a positive Education Requirement in addition to at least one year of Specialized Experience OR substitution of education for experience OR combination (if applicable) to be found minimally qualified. Transcripts must be submitted with your application package. You MUST meet Degree: economics, that included at least 21 semester hours in economics and 3 semester hours in statistics, accounting, or calculus. OR Combination of education and experience: courses equivalent to a major in economics, as shown in A above, plus appropriate experience or additional education. The total course work in either A or B above must have included differential and integral calculus and, also, four advanced mathematics courses requiring calculus or equivalent mathematics courses as a prerequisite. To qualify at the ZP-03 or GS-11/12 level: Assist with conceiving, planning, and carrying out research studies on natural resource economics to resolve problems.
Assist with developing new data sources.
Assist with designing or modifying procedures or methodologies for compiling, adjusting, and presenting data.
Assist with developing bio-economical models.
Assist with conducting research and statistical analysis, to utilize appropriate computer processing techniques, and to write and present reports on findings To qualify at the ZP-04 or GS-13/14 level: Conceiving, planning, and carrying out research studies on natural resource economics to resolve problems.
Developing new data sources.
Designing or modifying procedures or methodologies for compiling, adjusting, and presenting data.
Developing bio-economical models.
Conducting research and statistical analysis, to utilize appropriate computer processing techniques, and to write and present reports on findings.
