Today’s post is about Lakshmi-Pyare’s 1980 Bollywood compositions. Lakshmi-Pyare, short for Lakshmikant-Pyarelal was a famous and successful Bollywood music duo. The pair consisted of Lakshmikant Shantaram Kudalkar and Pyarelal Ramprasad Sharma. Their compositions adorned around 750 Bollywood movies and were active between 1963 and 1998. They had worked for all the famous movie-makers like Manoj Kumar, Raj Kapoor, Dev Anand, Shakti Samanta, B R Chopra, Manmohan Desai, Yash Chopra, J Om Prakash, Boney Kapoor, Raj Khosla, L V Prasad, K Vishwanath, Subhash Ghai, etc.
