Supndtrack Roundup: GLOW

Since the third season of the Netflix’s hit, “GLOW” has been available to stream on Netflix for awhile now, it seems like a good time to look back at the music from the series so far. To get the rundown on all the songs featured alongside the Gorgeous Ladies Of Wrestling, just scroll on down.

For those who haven’t yet seen it, you’re missing out. “GLOW” stars Allison Brie as out-of-work actress Ruth Wilder, who finds an unexpected acting opportunity within the glitter and spandex world of women’s wrestling. The Gorgeous Ladies Of Wrestling consist of twelve other Hollywood outcasts and misfits, and are led by the washed up movie director Sam Sylvia (played by Marc Maron), all on a quest for fame.

As it’s set in the 1980s, the soundtrack to “GLOW” features even more period songs than the soundtrack to “Stranger Things”, which is saying something. The list of featured artists bring a wide breadth of music from the era that constantly reminds viewers of the show’s setting. These include artists like Journey, Heart, Billy Joel, Hall & Oates, Joy Division, Queen and David Bowie, and many more.

Below, you’ll find every song we could track down from the “GLOW” soundtrack, separated by season. To fit with the adrenaline-fueled world of wrestling, the soundtrack is filled with a lot of upbeat songs to match the in-the-ring intensity. But there’s also plenty of variety to keep you entertained for hours. Expect a lot of synth-laced tunes, as well as an eclectic mix of electronic, rock and roll, and a few tender ones scattered in there.
